I can see scheduling conflicts but labor shortages? The future looks bleak. Let’s agree that human beings aren’t disposable or optional.

I saw my first real lifee we Urus and the Aston Martin suv within five minutes of each other on Monday. Neither will ever be used to negotiate more than a gravel driveway.

I believe what’s going on is that you’re amplifying an antisemitic and disgraceful decades long astroturfed conspiracy theory for the top keks?

I had no idea how disproportionally SW was impacted- and of course their cancellation cascade impacted all the other airlines as people scrambled to rebook. Basically operating with zero margin for error — in a ubiquitously error prone environment.

I’m from the UK and America and we all need to talk about Thailand and China respectively. And Italy is the LEAST controversial thing here…but you literally included every shape of pasta as a separate ingredient?

I’d honestly assumed that the CEO poll was designed to boost confidence in TSLA based on the idea that the market would be excited to have the genius back and focused.
Of course that tactic would depend on how successfully your recent “Genius “ campaign had landed…

I like it. Most Doctors have dressed as if they might have been an eccentric or even badly dressed fellow almost but not quite appropriate to various BBC budget friendly eras - Victorian, Edwardian, 20th century etc but with a flourish. Puffy shirt, GOAT scarf etc.

...and it was a confounding hiccup given how SIMPLE and wonderful the initial OOB was. Quest 2 is - as you note - almost exactly what the ideal modern VR console should have been. No cables, turn it on, it just works. And doing double duty as a tethered or wireless PC headset! <3

...or from either a dedicated Meta or Facebook app. The Xbox app setup is an excellent example of flow and simplicity -- new users could have had that be step 1 on unboxing and legacy users could have seen the prompt from FB, email notification or the headset...

* Was frustrating & confusing to put on headset, start a session, THEN get a window telling you to go set up potentially 3rd account (Meta) to access your stuff. On another device! Quest 2 is actually better for typing than a console & it could have all been done from the Q2...

I rankled @ recent acct update/transfer/register requiring 2 devices, 8 chr code, in my case a new email address & link to the wrong url*, but the Quest 2, hardware & initial setup, is among the most perfect console OOB experiences I've had in 40+ years... best of luck John!

This is a crazy serious story and I’m not making light of it at all but this is the most Coen Brothers mugshot I’ve seen since Nic Cage put a panty on his head.

Only since this has urgency and might literally be life and death for some. This should be a pretty easy fix no? Hopefully just an oversight as the company overhauls various things?

Hey @elonmusk, it seems like it's no longer possible to have a Ukrainian number verify a Twitter account/two-factor authentication. Ukraine is not in your list of countries, see our screenshot.
It's vital for us to keep showing the world what's going on in our country.

Cool but where’s my 4K of The Fountain? Also I wonder if they’ll tweak the VFX - the water was mind blowing at the time but it’s pretty distracting today.

Also one possible solution to the “right” version of any long running project is the Ship of Theseus. Just pick a plank, mast or keel as your final nail.

Hey, I didn’t “make the decision” to “unhumanize forerunners” because that’s not how making games works, but LOVE the idea of “rogue writers” somehow just being able to check gigantic storylines into Source Depot and everyone has to go along with it- so if it helps then blame me!

Asking the average Moscow Joe to believe:
1. Ukraine is actually just Russian land & will fall in 3 days.
2. The US is a paper tiger with no fight left.
3. Actually we might lose Ukraine and the invincible US will reverse Red-Dawn us any minute unless you forget 1 & 2.

I’m partial to overwrought but earnest apocalyptic movies — standouts are The Prophecy (1st movie), Prince of Darkness, Omen 3, Legion, Exorcist 3 and Exorcist Dominion kinda. This movie might scratch that itch but I hope it’s better than its title.

Using isolated bits of the Old Testament as a cheat sheet for then using the whole Bible as a moral “choose your own adventure“ book seems spiritually risky to me, but then I’m sure everyone bringing this case is devoutly and piously wholesome.

This isn't even within margin of error rates. It would be a joke if it weren't so serious and tragic. It's also easily within the "guess what %age they will try to claim," rates.
I suppose it's solely for (Russian) domestic audiences. Clownshoes stuff though. NK levels of nuts.

It's always "only" a new, interesting bit of >natural< stellar phenomenon (pulsars, GRBs etc). Tho' arguably, human radio transmissions are "natural in origin" to any sufficiently alien observer. "Oh it's just noise from a primitive technological organic planetary emergence"

Political debate among citizens in the public sphere is the most essential ingredient of democracy. He’s a citizen. This is the public sphere. Even your response was in part a political belief.
