Cynical and wrong. If labour hadn't tried to avoid the consequences of their own behaviour by butchering the IHRA definition of antisemitism which they only had to adopt after ignoring a/s in their ranks for so long then all this would have been sorted. Oh what a tangled web...

‘Butcher’? The definition wasn’t touched. There were some examples that could have been used to call criticism of Israel ‘antisemitic’ that were dropped. And do you really think the media and other political groups would have let this drop if they had adopted all the examples?

Rothschild*
-
Yes, yes, we get the idea, you have spotted that this Rabbi is a Jew. You should apologise to her and seek help.
-
Not sure that was the angle I was aiming at, more the rich conservative family name plus the pure defending of the IHRA definition even though it should allow criticism of Israel. I didn't even notice the rabbi tbh... won't be apologising though
-
Because everyone with the surname Rothschild is part of a nefarious dynasty that controls all western government... You daft racist.

That's really, really, really, not how newspapers work.
-
You will know better than me, but is journalists sitting on stories not a fairly common thing?
-
Nope. Papers rarely think more than a week ahead, and are constantly worried their competition will get there first. If we kept things for a year then the chances are someone would move jobs and take it with them.
-
Also, beyond a 24 hour cycle they're very disorganised.
-
So what you are saying is I shouldn't base all my knowledge of how journalism works from TV shows? Understood.
-
Aside from the depiction of them as noble truth warriors with dashing jawlines. That bit is true.

Doesn’t make the actions any better though even if true does it?

Nobody said it did

Seems Frankie has now started to slip into the world of cultist conspiracy theory.
#corbyn#Wreathgate#LabourAntisemitism#Labour -
Not really. He's not saying the wreath thing isn't true, just that the media will manipulate the agenda to suit/protect those it favours. It's hardly a conspiracy or even a massive revelation, just an astute observation.
-
Frankie dishes out insults readily. Apparently he doesn’t like his theories being challenged / scrutinised. Bless.pic.twitter.com/sKVFulBYMG

Perhaps he blocked you because your Twitter persona is so abrasive. I'm sure you're perfectly pleasant in real life though.
-
So Boyle can’t take it on twitter, but thinks its ok to make jokes on national television about disabled children e.g Harvey Price? I’m sure he’s perfectly pleasant in ‘real life’ though.
-
That isn't "Whataboutery". Whataboutery is using someone else's wrongdoings to excuse your own, this is a case where someone is pointing out the hypocrisy of someone who is famed for their offensive style of humour, in-fact being oversensitive and blocking people for "offence".
