OK so I just rewatched Wonder Woman and I am 1000% certain that Diana *seduced* that blue dress right off its original owner rather than stealing it, YOU WILL NOT CONVINCE ME OTHERWISE

Diana smiles. "I'll be fine," she says - and on impulse, leans in to kiss her in thanks, just at the edge of her mouth. The woman cannot speak; can only watch the gleam of the sword at Diana's back as she strides towards the castle.

The woman stands in the trees for a long moment, silent. And then, clad in nothing but her cloak, she starts to walk away through the forest - away from her husband, away from the life she has neither liked nor wanted for a long, long time.

Later, she hears the explosions coming from the castle. She doesn't look back. Later still, when her feet are sore and bleeding, and she is found wandering by a road, she gives a fake name to the people who rescue her. The woman she was is thought dead, along with her husband.
