Twitter, help me out: I could swear I remember reading an article/thread by a man who, as a boy in Sri Lanka, knew Arthur C Clarke and spoke about his interest in young boys first hand, but I cannot for the life of me find it. Does it exist, or am I getting it mixed up?

I have never seen any evidence (ie not just general allegations) that he was involved with boys under the age of 16. But note that when he went to Sri Lanka the age of consent in the UK was 21.

Yeah, He goes there in 1956, 12 years before homosexuality is legal in the UK.

I am cautious but I won;t accept evidence such as "I was with my dad and felt scared". Frankly dad sounds an arse but naked pictures of kids was such a general thing that to assume a gay man must be a paedophile on the basis of it, is really problematic.
