This question is equal parts serious and facetious, but I can't stop thinking about it: where do vegans who are fully opposed to cattle and dairy farming think domesticated cows will GO without those industries? Do they think they'll just... return to nature, minus the methane?

I mean, the rest of the world doesn't factory farm the way America does? Not saying there aren't abuses elsewhere, but don't conflate the American default for a global one. But either way, I fail to see how ending a species isn't itself animal cruelty.

I can see ethical farming for dairy/egg production but it seams difficult to pull off for large scale meat production. Not impossible, just difficult. The end solution is one I think will evolve over time rather than come about through sudden revolution.
