Zucc is Norweigan, not Swiss; he played in Sweden before the NHL. Regardless of what happens with Kovalchuk, I think it'd be a mistake to trade him - he brings something unique to the lineup.

But you do understand that with the handshake agreement with Kovalchuk that that’s exactly what will happen? Zucc’s cap hit being 4.5 mil makes him insanely valuable & you’re going to get at least a 2nd round pick and an A-prospect. Dallas was interested. Calgary could be as well

Speaking as a Stars fan, if we ended up with Zucc in Dallas, I'd be thrilled - I just think the Rangers will regret trading him.
