Frankly, when Tilda Swinton's character marooned him on Mt Everest as a lesson, I started rooting for him to die there & the film to end.

But of course he didn't, and the awfulness kept on going, so I walked the fuck out of the room and will not be returning. Nice SFX, tho.

Strange is SUCH AN UNREMITTING BAG OF DICKS from the start, but we're meant to root FOR him when he crashes his car??? HELL no

The kicker is they make it seem like karma when he crashes and then want us to believe in a redemption that never satisfies.

I would have cared, maybe, if he was remorseful or self-reflective AT ALL in the aftermath. But he just CARRIES ON ASSHOLING.

We're reminded of a Pulp Fiction quote: "Charm goes a long way." "Well, we'd have to be talkin' about one charming MFing pig"

We get it. A few of us like him a lot—especially in Sherlock, but this was messy and miscast on every level of consciousness.

I liked him in Sherlock at the beginning, but he has... worn on me, shall we say. And also he reminds me of a HHGTTG quote:
