Like, "I really want to write X, but I don't read it." Why, though? Are you just assuming everyone other than you isn't worth the effort?
@O_Waite I take the point about form, but I'm really more talking about (say) people who want to write PNR but don't ever read it.

@fozmeadows I'd guess it happens most with genres viewed as sellable but low-status: PNR, vampires, romance. -
