As we've been doing Greek myths the past few bedtimes, tonight I read Persephone's story to my 8yo, and when we reached the part where Hades tricks her into eating the pomegranate seeds he GASPED.

That is so great. Loved greek myths as a kid (bet there's a decent chance that book is the same one I had as a kid). (and two very fun games, too)

Do you mind sharing the title? I think the content of most of the myths is a bit much for my sensitive 5yo currently, but I'm on the lookout for a good book for the future.

My 11-year-old has got the mythology bug big time this year: Egyptian and Greek especially, from Assassin’s Creed: Origins & Percy Jackson. Now she’s into Japanese via Noragami

Yay! Noragami is so great! It really helped me remember names of the kami when I go to shrines here in Japan
