I think you call it having adhd but not being a cis man.

I had to learn more about adhd & then look at the symptoms again & realize they don’t mean what I thought they did. So even if I can say “yes, of course my dissertation is more important than fic” if I’m still like “but the fic FEELS just as urgent” I’m still bad at prioritizing.

I dunno, but it'd sure be useful to me to learn because, yeah, been there.

Projection. Currently feeling the same way. It’s unnerving.

I’d have to see the test (or at least some sample questions) to evaluate. Tho... most of the questionnaire type tests are not very useful for self diagnosis.

Stardew Valley’s fishing minigame is very similar structurally to the early computer tests that nailed down my diagnosis in the early 1990s.

I'm not an expert, but it could be you have executive dysfunction caused by something other than ADHD, and/or the questions don't sufficiently take into account how ADHD commonly manifests in people who were socialised female as children.

A friend suggested I look into ADHD, I didn't think I had it, and then I learnt more about how it often shows up in non–cis-male people, especially the primarily-inattentive type of ADHD.
