...guess I'll cross that one off my list of things I vaguely intended to watch someday D: Have you watched Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun? It's an affectionate (not mean-spirited) send-up of shoujo manga and a lot of fun, only one season and recently added to Netflix

I always recommend Hidamari Sketch when people are looking for a light anime. Slice of life, pretty adorable, and easy to fall into and out of as one's mood suits.

Bofuri is light, silly, fun. Zero sex creeps. Bonus flying turtle.

There's a reboot of Digimon, been watching that for the nostalgia trip. Nice and fun and definitely none of that nonsense

This sounds like me every time I try a new anime. The fan service is throttling the medium.

Fan service is literally why I won't watch Anime anymore. Admittedly, I barely watched it at all in the 90s, but it seems far, far worse these days.

Usch! Last I watched was ghibli's "our neighbors the Yamada" and it was pretty funny slice of life
