I get why people are using the phrase "conspiracy theory" to describe the suspicion that 45 doesn't have Covid, but it doesn't really apply: given how often and blatantly his administration lies, what we've actually got is a Boy Who Cried Wolf situation.

I was extremely skeptical until I saw reports from multiple reputable sources without any suggestion it might be false. But when dealing with a compulsive liar, skepticism is healthy and normal, it only becomes conspiratorial if it persists despite evidence to the contrary.
