Apparently we need to buy a printer so we can print out worksheets we can’t physically hand in, because obviously just handwriting the worksheet headings would be Insufficient.

Again, I’m sympathetic to the teacher here, she’s clearly doing her best. But I’ll admit to wincing when she told a kid to set up somewhere other than his bedroom tomorrow so he doesn’t want to lie down in bed, when the alternative is sharing the lounge with his parent.

All of this is so exhausting and so infuriating and so UNNECESSARY. Instead of finding new things that will work, we are just gonna - do the same thing in the hardest way possible, I guess. So mad that all of us - parents, teachers, staff - are being forced into all this.

Our kids' school said they were planning to provide workbooks and worksheets to all the students for offline learning but they're dealing with weird shortages (possibly caused by a flood of homeschoolers) and don't know when they'll arrive.
