I'm 5'9 and have been since I was about twelve. I weighed the same 56kg I did at 18 as I did at 12 despite being all muscle, which meant I was underweight in a way where you could see my collarbones and hipbones jutting out. But I'm also white and was a natural blonde, so.

The number of times I was catcalled in my school uniform, or *literally followed through public spaces* by middle-aged men was... significant, let us say.

Right now, I'm not *quite* as heavy as I was right after by kid was born, but I'm heavy. Still - thankfully - much, much healthier (and happier!) than I was the same time a few years back, before I got my health issues sorted out, but heavy.

For health reasons - and yeah, I'll admit it, socially conditioned vanity reasons - I would like to drop some heft. But damned if I'm not constantly doing the mental calculus of When The Catcalling Will Start Again, as it did the last time I fell below a certain weight.

Um. .. those middle aged men were so gross because you registered as young and vulnerable. They dont do it to adult women nearly so much :/ you'll be safe.

The last time I dropped enough weight to start getting catcalled by random guys in cars, I was in my 30s.
