Yesterday I shelled out for MarioKart 8 and it's... okay? I guess? But happily one of the many upsides to having a 7yo is that if I buy an all-ages game that doesn't tickle me, it won't go unappreciated.

IDK how low-stress you’ll consider it to be, but Minecraft Dungeons has been filling that gap in for me. You can pick the difficulty level of any dungeon you pop into, so you can be as hard or as easy on yourself as you want.

Township might work for you? Lilly's Garden is colourful and low-stress but it does have a storyline with dialogue

Such a difficult balance to strike. Too stimulating/engrossing and I find I'm not paying attention to the podcast - or I crave the game's sounds. But so many chill games are very repetitive and I end up with repetitive stress dreams about them.

Animal Crossing? It's definitely a chill game if you play it that way (some people get crazy with it but that's not really a requirement)
