what always gets me in these instances of Person Goes Full Fuckstain On Camera, Subsequently Loses Job is how many people think there's no way that the biases you have in your private life impact what you do at work. like you're gonna clock out your racism 9-5, Monday to Friday.

are there a lot of bad examples of people losing their jobs because of stuff they did in private that has no bearing on their work? absolutely! are there sometimes liminal cases that make things difficult? of course! but for fuck's sake, screeching murdery racism IS ALWAYS BAD
