I can remember the 1968 ‘Hong Kong Flu’. At school we made up jokes & skipping songs about it and thought it was nothing to do with us. Yet the adults around us must have been so anxious. It’s thought 80k people died of it in UK.

Mine gets it on some level, but is essentially home schooling herself (so much math), baking every afternoon, and making elaborate Lego displays. I'm totally fine if this ends up being remembered as the best 6 weeks of her life thus far, no matter what happens to the adults.
