Question for service/guide dog handlers who use lyft and Uber (and please only those who have a dog that is legally required to be accommodated for) Please QT with how frequently you experience service denials on the basis of the dog. For me? At least 2-4x/mo

As a hopefully useful point of control data to emphasise the ableism at work here: I’ve taken my cats to the vet in rideshares multiple times and never been refused.

The only problem with that control group that I can see someone picking on (and I don’t necessarily think it’s a sign that it’s a bad control group) is that your cats are presumably in a crate or carrier

True, they are. But there’s still potential for bladder accidents etc. I also take rideshares everywhere with my kid and have never been turned down on his account, either.
