The fact that there are people blaming Zoe Quinn for Alex Holowka’s suicide because she (among multiple others) spoke up about his abuse, but who see no problem with her being flooded with death threats either now or historically, is the epitome of misogynistic gamer hypocrisy.

Ok, so I fall in the middle here. Like it or not, the fact this allegation was not taken to the police meant that there was no investigation into what she said, so it came down to her word against his. Did she deserve death threats because of this? No. Did he (cont)

(Cont) deserve to lose his job, reputation and livelihood because of this leaving him believing that taking his the only option? Likewise, no. No matter how you look at this it was a tragedy. How can we prevent this from happening again?

Yes, he did deserve to lose his job. He was using his position to be abusive & predatory to those around him. Quinn wasn't the only one who came forward- so did his collaborators on Night in The Woods. Getting the word out is the only way to warn others.

(Cont) no blame of any sort would attach to her for telling the truth. Also, if this guy had a history of being suicidal, why wasn’t actions taken when such a massive suicidal stress trigger happened?

They were. If you read his sister’s comments - and she believes his victims and doesn’t want them attacked, btw - he was in constant contact with her, with his therapist and crisis support for suicide. He still killed himself.
