The fact that there are people blaming Zoe Quinn for Alex Holowka’s suicide because she (among multiple others) spoke up about his abuse, but who see no problem with her being flooded with death threats either now or historically, is the epitome of misogynistic gamer hypocrisy.

Like, I hate to break this to you, but this still would've been big news on social media and elsewhere if The Laws were involved from the outset; Holowka would still have reacted this way, but his defenders would be saying the victims should've handled it in-house, not via cops.

If you're concerned about Holowka's mental health issues, but not the PTSD and mental health of his victims, you're a hypocrite. If you're concerned about legality and proof but are convinced Quinn et al are lying Because Reasons, you're a hypocrite.

Also: literally thousands of dudes have lined up over the years to bombard Quinn and others with doxing attempts, death threats, swatting and hellacious written abuse, yet those same dudes now think it's implausible for anyone to have multiple shitty ex-boyfriends? [stares]

He had chronic depression - His life was over, once you get accused it's next to impossible to fix or tell your side because people burn you like a witch trial. Hearsay/Gossip evidence is very hard to prove because it's one sided, were their witnesses? if not then how can we know

I have depression; it doesn’t excuse abuse or stop someone being an abuser. It wasn’t just Quinn; multiple people came forward, all corroborating stories; it’s tragic that he died, but it’s not the fault of people who spoke up
