Me: frantically trying to finish an edit letter at 1:30 in the morning on a Saturday night so it's done before I go on vacation. Also me: pauses to do a very important google to check on cats available for adoption at my local shelter, cats I can't even bring home til I get back.

I’m just saying, Spellcheck is an excellent name for a cat

Alas, naming rights for future!cat belong to my long-suffering children who grew up with a cat who loved me desperately and avoided them whenever possible. However, I do have a sfx-obsessed 8yo who would happily name a cat Deboss or something.

I know this feel, as our cat was technically named by my then-5yo. But i tried to think of things he liked that suited an orange cat, which is how we ended up with Bumblebee (after the Transformer), called BB for short (after BB8), so it worked out pretty well :)pic.twitter.com/gOlkzueabo
