The statement you’ve just made is literally a type of violent prejudice, though. Saying you support trans rights but not trans women is like someone saying they support women’s rights but not lesbians. The two are mutually exclusive.

There is such a thing as responsible dialogue about issues that affect real people. What I’m seeing here about trans women is profoundly not that.

Except when rights are in conflict, which happens. The claimed right of women to same-sex spaces/competitions conflicts with the claimed rights of trans women for gender identity claims to those spaces/competitions. Sex is not gender, hence, debates.
