Just had my first experience of booking a GP visit in the US using my medical insurance. It's November 6th. The earliest appointment I could get with my mandated practitioner? December 11th. Every USian who's ever yelled about wait times under socialised medicine can SHUT UP.
Also, funny how it's easier to prevent vaccine-treatable illnesses in countries where all childhood vaccinations are free.

I had to get my son vaccinated here as a catch-up. It was nearly a hundred dollars. Every other vaccination of his life has been free in England, Scotland and Australia. Yes, there are anti-vaxxers in those countries, too, but they thrive in the US because of the cost.
