I love emu eggs, the colour is so pretty! I remember reading that scientists were able to determine the colour of some dinosaur eggs, and that Oviraptor eggs were a similar colour.

...they are so PRETTY. For some reason I had assumed emu eggs looked just like ostrich eggs.

Many ratites lay deeply colored eggs, cassowaries are similar to emus but a brighter more vibrant lime green and tinamous' eggs are like shiny green jewels!

Do a post when or if they hatch, also it may just be the camera angle but egg 13-14 look way bigger than the rest of the eggs
