I’m from Ky, still have family there. People choose to stay on welfare. There’s plenty of jobs. It’s easier for the govt to give them money & meds, they turn around sell their pain pills to buy the hard stuff. Kids live with gparents, because their parents are always high.

I tutored refugees fr parts of Africa, who after busting their butts to learn English, found jobs & proudly let me know, they don't want the govt giving them anything, they would rather work & take care of themselves! That's about 13 yrs ago, they own homes & cars now!

Benefit cutting is long overdue. There is a lot of waste in welfare money and dare I (a veteran) say it, va benefits. People get money for free but it’s not free. Taxpayers foot the bill. It needs to come to an end.

My cousin began looking for a job a couple weeks before his unemployment ran out. As soon as Hussein Obama extended it, he quit looking and went fishing for a couple more months! If you can't find a job in a couple months, you're not looking. I see help wanted ads all over!
