It appears the blade is removed which means it’s only a scalpel handle. It should be sterile so no infection should result. But it does need removing.

This is actually NOT a VA issue, it actually happens 5,000-6,000 times/year! Don't assume that because they're physicians/surgeons that they are perfect, they are human!

The VA needs more veteran doctors and employees. My wife has PTSD from MST and was given meds that caused serotonin syndrome which almost killed her. Never got a call back from the VA and had to take her to a civilian ER for answers and help

VA won't authorize double lung transplant for me.I wass accepted at Temple Phila,Pa for surgery.But medicare only pays 80% and VA won't pay for anything:(
