One possible way to help the homeless (if they are willing/able to work) off the streets would be to allow employers to provide dormitory housing (or even a camping spot and clothing etc. as part of their "minimum wage" (fairly negotiated of course) instead of in addition to it.

One of the reasons why the homeless can't get off the is because, in order to get and keep a job, you need nice clothes and transportation and it is hard to keep your clothes nice if you are sleeping on the street. At minimum wage it would take a long time to save up for housing

Uh what about the people who run over them at night because they can't see them? Or is this a liberal way to alleviate the problem because they are too stupid to fix it?
