They (automatic) are already banned per federal law unless someone has an exception. An AR-15 is NOT AN ASSAULT WEAPON. It is a semi-automatic rifle, of which millions exist. Real ASSAULT weapons are only in the hands of the military/LE and licensed people.

I personally dont think its a good idea, but maybe it'll work for that town, in this day. I think its good to test run controversial laws, but not with permanent loss of a civilians fire arm or right to bare them.
Our Prayers are with them! I pray that “We the People” stand strong against this part of our govt/politicians & the Communistic (I believe) Left that wants to take away our guns, so they have total control! Wake up America; ESPECIALLY PAY ATTN 2 WHO U VOTE 4!

they will need them because the crooks and felons will not hand over theirs. look back in history in the 30s all jwere made to hand over weapons and we lost millions of people. history is repeating itsself
