Excited to share that , , Paul Sajda and I were awarded a $1.5M grant from to study human-agent teams. We hope to develop tech to detect (and fix!) implicit and explicit bias in teams.

Congrats, it is very important issue and I experienced it myself. It is such a fantastic and exciting issue. Can’t wait to see the result. Even hope I could be part of it.
A sage said in effect "we create the chains of our own enslavement." Your delight at getting a grant to work on a machine for "purifying" workplace speech suggests you joyfully embrace chain-making. Future applications may allow bosses to adjust Proles' paychecks accordingly.

Absolutely ridiculous! Some things would be too dumb to be on a tabloid magazine next to a cash register at Walmart. A computer to listen to people to make sure they’re “fair” definitely is in that category.
