NEW: A picture from Scranton. Joe Biden just signed this on the living room wall in his childhood home here. For context, he did this in the bedroom during the 2008 race. @axios
"As a mother and a grandmother, as an American, I am heartbroken by the magnitude of this loss, by the failure to protect our communities, by every precious and irreplaceable life gone."

More U.S. deaths than the Vietnam War (58,220), 9/11 (2,977), the War in Afghanistan (2,445), the War in Iraq (4,431), and the Revolutionary War (4,435) COMBINED. This insidious disease is not a hoax and its effects are far from over. Stay safe everyone. #COVID19#MemorialDay
I've been working remotely for 2.5 years. The past 2.5 months have left me more *exhausted* than ever before.
This is your reminder that you're not working remotely. You're working remotely during a global health crisis.
Regarding demonstrations in #Ohio: I respect the First Amendment. I am fair game. But, it is not fair game to be disrespectful or obnoxious to the news media. To treat them with disrespect and to not practice social distancing with them, I find that very sad.
Can you clarify if the wedding exception applies to all vendors associated with the wedding (photographers, florist, musician)? A lot of us have clients going forward with their weddings as normal because of this exception and demanding we still provide services. #AskGovDeWine
The Trump administration has approved the first system for sterilizing specialized face masks — but the decision drew a quick rebuke from Ohio’s Republican governor
As of 8:25 p.m. the day before Ohio's primary election, it is ON. That's what we know. What we don't know: will there be an appeal? Other legal action? Will poll workers already called off show up? Seeking answers across the board.
Around Thanksgiving 2017, in the midst of the worst grief a parent can feel. I got a late night call from @joebiden within hours of the news. @joebiden who lost his Neilia and Naomi to an accident, and his Beau to cancer channeled his loss and pain to comfort me. (1/2)
Whether on the assembly line, at the grocery store checkout, or in the boardroom, every woman deserves to make every penny a man doing the same job makes. The #PaycheckFairnessAct will help us get there. Congratulations
Thank you to the bipartisan members of Congress who today introduced a #VAWA reauthorization, landmark legislation that provides life-saving services and help for survivors.
When I wrote the Violence Against Women Act in 1994, I believed it would be a lifeline. But this Congress has turned it into a political football. It’s time to pass a strong reauthorization to the Violence Against Women Act. No more stalling. Lives are on the line.
In the year since their friends were killed, the students of Parkland refused to settle for the way things are and marched, organized, and pushed for the way things should be - helping pass meaningful new gun violence laws in states across the country. I'm proud of all of them.
No matter where we are, or who we are protecting two thing never change. We will execute our no fail mission, and we will do it wearing sunglasses. Happy #NationalSunglassesDay
A policy that separates young children from their parents isn’t a “deterrent”. It’s unconscionable.
A policy that traumatizes children isn’t a bargaining chip. It’s abhorrent. https://facebook.com/joebiden/posts/10155305481581104…
