Read this thread & my gutt feeling on the experiments I have done.
The end notes tell you what is happening in the Octopus.
My instincts tell me that this is a good path to follow. I think we can grow brains outside of the head, interfaced naturally with the brain & a computer.

In AI you r using an algorithm to teach the network the weights. Slow & primitive.
What nerves in the body are doing is hunting, building the network automatically & finding the weights that work!

See what I trying to tell you... in silicon AI you have to find that logic. In living AI you just have to figure out how the nerves hunt, they will make the working algorithm for you, even if you dont know how they actually do it.
And that is research worth doing! Have fun!
