trains cost billions boring company tunnels cost 100x less if you don’t have the money to build a train, trains are useless.

The tunnels will run on rubber tires and a road, rather than lines. That makes running costs much higher and less environmentally friendly. Think about road works, but in a small tunnel with a heavy vehicle passing over the same spot every few seconds. Also all the rubber.

Also, for example, the SFCS (at the top) is over the entire life of the project and it includes much more than just the underground. It will have roughly 50million passengers a year.

The new Vegas Loop will do 57k per hour capacity. At 24/7 operation, can be up to 500 million per year capacity. Conservative number too.

Mmmm. Sat in a stinky ass small car that has had millions of people sat in. Be easy to clean too. 🤣🤣 The current one in Vegas is a shit show.

You'd be replacing tires weekly, the doors will break, the batteries need replacing (rail has centralised power, which is much more efficient and safer). Rail is a beast. These cars are not designed for this. It is a bullshit marketing scheme.

Subway doors break but are cheap to repair. Tires will need replacing very regularly. Short trips, lots of breaking, roads will be fucked by over use. 350k is not much when used 24/7. Thats an environmental disaster. Power from same source then chemically stored. 🤮

Grid is highly reliable. It serves millions and rarely has issues. It is so rare that an issue makes the news.
