Chickenpox parties served to safely immunize children against chickenpox AND adults against shingles. Ever since science came to the rescue, you need at least TWO vaccines (plus booster shots). Guess who’s more happy? People? Or Pharma, Inc.? Bring back the PoxParties!

Yep, I remember doing this. It worked fine. I don't trust anything the Big Pharma says.

My sister and I both had a mild case of chicken pox as kids. My mom took care of us, she never had chicken pox as a kid and didn’t end up getting it when we (her children) got it either. As an adult her doctor wanted her to get the shingles vax, she said no and that she’d never

Never had the chicken pox herself so wouldn’t she not be able to get shingles. The doctor seemed baffled and then wanted to vaccinate her for chicken pox!🤦🏼‍♀️she’s like obviously I’m immune no thanks. So ridiculous

There was a Facebook group where I live to arrange pox parties. Had to be taken down because some nasty trolls got in and the group got a lot of heat, even on the news. What don't people understand about natural immunity? Pox isn't that bad! Just annoying.

I got vaxxed for chicken pox in my youth, and still got them pretty bad. In a school of 300 kids, only 4 didn't get the pox and I'm pretty sure they didnt get the vax either.
