Here's the thing about Thundercats Roar- everyone is just disappointed it isn't the 2011 reboot that got canned. And while I agree the 2011 one should never have been cancelled you can't project that disappointment on a completely separate iteration, it's unfair at best

It's ok to admit that a show aimed at children might not be for adults... I get it, Old Teen Titans/YoungJustice/BatmanTAS/ Both Avatars etc were good for adults as well as kids, but... sometimes it can just be a goofy kids show...

Yeah, not every cartoon will be everyone's demographic y'know? There's nothing wrong with trying something new with an existing label. Thundercats and Thundercats Roar are two totally different things, just like other shows have done.

I think they're really just trying to be consistent with the style that's currently popular with kids so they can relate. I hope they get the viewership. It's always a good thing introducing our old favorites to a new generation, even if it's in a different packaging.

Oh they definitely are- Gumball, Steven Universe, Star Vs Etc all follow the same style. And cartoons have always done that, back when I was younger it was Dexter's Lab, Johnny Bravo etc which all looked similar in execution. And before that, Silly Symphonies, Looney Tunes etc.
