I can absolutely understand if someone's from a small town with no Asian resturants but she's lived in the heart of Toronto for ages. Bless my close irl friends tho: Indian, Black, Ukranian- all of them knew how to eat with chopsticks well before they met me.

for sure, lack of exposure to chopsticks is fine but if you say "i'm asian on the inside" then insist chopsticks are too hard........ just lol......
