I think that's a legitimate point, though. I enjoy the whole story more when the xpac is over. I think that tiny bits of character development in very polished cinematics is kind of jarring. I think that there should be more obvious explaining instead of subtle cues.

sure, enjoying the whole story in one big chunk is always fun and it saves the waiting inbetween. i more mean... idk, i feel like its a tale as old as time with warcraft story, that no one likes it until its a couple expacs old. its always been that way.

MoP got trashed as a combination residual frustration over Cata alongside Pandaren at the time being seen as nothing more than a Kung Fu Panda joke, and the introduction of the modern talent tree system that a lot saw as detrimental to the RPG side of the game.

I loved MOP. After Cata it was absolutely a welcome change. All the zone were so pretty, the raids were interesting, and I actually love the Pandaren as a race. Most of the disparaging comments I caught were how Blizz was catering to furries and China... 9_9pic.twitter.com/rH2wbchFl2
