but that all flows back to this story arch should never have happened in the first place (imo) and now we're just trying to make it fit. Why couldn't she have stood with us against the jailer? Makes so much more sense for her char

I guess I just disagree that we haven't been shown a process for her in SL. Whether you like it or believe or not is fine, I just can't agree that there hasn't been a pretty thorough showing of her journey to get there.

??? Where did I say there was no process shown? I said that the details are not explained. How he managed to convince her, what kind of freedom, from what. Unjust system by the vague first ones? What <insert here> could possibly have convinced her. Must be stronk

What kind of freedom? From the unfair cycle of life and death that is imposed upon us. She straight up says that out loud in No More Lies

Aye, the jailer told her that there was no choice in life and they're judged for their actions in the afterlife. The jailer, what made her believe him? What made her get over the similarities to frostmourne. What made her think he was going to be the ticket to freedom?

What made her believe him? He was the only one understanding her anger at the unfairness and offering her a supposed solution for a start. I love you and I'm not trying to be rude here I swear but I just don't see what's confusing about this motivation?

Can you direct me to where this comes from? What piece of lore did I miss where you read their meeting?

She clearly believes in his plan, that is transparent in NO More Lies. And the thing is, the bit about being slaves to the cylce of life and death and having no choice isn't even a lie, like all good manipulators he uses a mix of truth and deceipt

Which is fine but that goes back to the original point. Why does she believe him, the guy that's a walking frostmourne when the writing is on the wall that he's a bad guy. Either you turn sylvanas into a dummy or so blinded that she becomes manipulated/controlled again

this person made a great point about abusive situations and trying not to become the thing you hate the most. 'ours is a cycle of hatred' and all thathttps://twitter.com/wow_mandi/status/1412787341530480644 …

I think it may be slightly telling that more women seem to understand why Sylvanas was willing to believe this clearly very bad and manipulative person who could definitely hurt her any time he chose, than men. I'm not even being funny here.
