There's also the research of which countries/provinces will accept your international degrees/diplomas too. I only recently learned some provinces in Canada don't do that. =/

yeeeeep. there's a lot to consider and i haven't seen a "you don't need a degree to do art/animation/etc" thread that actually details that yet. ideally if you can avoid spending a shitton of money on tuition, sure, but not all of us get that luxury yknow?

Yup. I don't know how different studios address degree/diploma vs reels, I've definitely worked with a lot of international people in my time who didn't necessarily study here.

i might be wrong but i seem to remember that ten years of industry experience will also make you eligible, if you dont have at least a bachelors? plus other visas will let you use different things as eligibility. visas are a hard thing no matter which way you do it, though.
