i’ve noticed a couple of problematic elements of #spiritfarer. for such a beautifully progressive game (especially re: capitalism sucks), i was definitely a bit taken aback by an npc saying that they wanted to find their “spirit animal.” definitely cringed irl.

I mean, now I can see it’s a denizen, but there’s an added headband and the feather’s shape and size seem changed on the icon. Even if it’s just the bottom-most wisp portion of the aura around their head, it’s not a great look, especially in tandem with the “spirit animal” line.
