It's a tie between Anduin and Yrel for me.
Both of them felt a bit forced to me. Golden child syndrome. Their character arcs both went way too fast for me, leaving me feeling like it was just assumed that I would love and admire them. They lacked natural growth/true flaws.https://twitter.com/HaelynnAilelumi/status/1201937880958033920 …

Both Varian and Anduin felt very much like I was being told that I love them, too. Yrel was a different sort of rushed...If the pacing were different for her, I think I could feel way different about her. The Wrynns, though...kinda always make me cringe.

I do agree with Yrel. I could never really feel for her. I actually kinda like the long term what ifs about her new fanaticism in the Mag'har scenario though As for the Wrynns... I mean, you've seen my Twitter lol. 10/10 no faults I love me some Wrynn bois

Ahaha, tbh your Wrynn art and comics have warmed me up to them a lot more Christie Golden's writing, too, massively changed how I felt about a few characters...I think there's something about the confines of the MMO that is difficult for the writers to work with

Aaahhh that makes me very happy
Very true- at least the books exist to fill the niches in lore that gameplay won't always allow! <3
