In other news, there's an autistic guy in 2 of my classes, and other classmates constantly giggle VERY OPENLY at how he communicates. How do I tell them to cut that shit out: 1) Without bringing more attention to himself 2) Without disrupting the class 3) In Japanese

If I were the teacher, I'd have made sure already to talk privately to all the little assholes :'-( I don't wanna report either, bc I honestly have no idea what the public awareness of autism is in Japan or other Asian countries :'-(

In my experience, it isn't great. There's *something* there but, you've probably experienced by now, it's a very "pretend the problem doesn't exist" kinda culture.
