In my experience, coming out feeling like you got nothing done and just repeated the same story as always. But, if you get that feeling like I did, remember that you’re laying the groundwork and sorta rolling out a map with your therapist before your journey starts.

It’s not uncommon to come out of your session feeling depressed or hyper sensitive - it’s part of the healing process! People often have a session, experience a short duration of feeling down or worn out, and as they process start to feel better and see how it helped.
