The industry provides a..rich..store of instruction on how to instill the “new spirit of the age” by concentrating..attention on “the more superficial things that comprise much of..consumption.”..then people will accept the meaningless..lives that are appropriate for them..

Oliver Plunkett, 17th-century Irish martyr, became Ireland’s first new saint in nearly 700 years after being canonized in 1975. In 1997, he was deemed the country’s patron saint of peace and reconciliation. His head is kept in a shrine inside this church.

Jayzus, there's a LOT going on in this photograph...spotted it in a shop-window in Dublin. Luke Kelly looks massive and is that Ronnie Corbert down in front? Yer man too in an Arran Sweater! And yer man's flat-cap! They're all smiles which is great.

There is a lot of Narcissism out there. A lot of plaintive projection. I see it on Twitter too. If the traits of Narcissism leak-out into my Time-Line, I now mute or unfollow. The whole, 'Me, me, me' mantra is tiresome and ultimately sad, unhealthy and cyclical.

You see, I was really a bit of a Narcissist myself for a while but felt that was an ugly projection and alcohol played a part of that masking of my insecurities. So, I kicked that into the long grass. Helping less-fortunate people, and many 'strangers', in life, has helped me.
