Today we have released a German prototype of Pokemon Silver for the Game Boy Color. There are quite a few byte differences, but the exact changes are unknown. Thanks a ton to @MrTrippleAAA for generously allowing us to release!

He also owns a Pokemon Red dev cartridge, although we are having trouble getting a clean dump. What's interesting is that this is appears to be after the retail release. From what was dumped, there are byte differences, but then the bytes then start repeating after a while. 1/2pic.twitter.com/YJwjcrdYXH
Cleaning the pins is not solving the issue. If anyone has ideas on some sort of alternate way this can be dumped, it would be much appreciated.

Weird that's it's apparently on an MBC5 cart, when Gen 2 used MBC3 with the timer. Guess they didn't need the clock?
Tested and yeah mostly just a German Release. My guess any byte change might be grammar changes or stat tweaking.
