Journalistic processes and ethics are there for good reason. You shouldn't encourage people who've clearly not done basic research and are driven by a desire for fame, even if what they say has been mostly correct. The sensationalism and lack of checks will do more damage.
We have a major problem in Overwatch where no high level journalists want to investigate controversial issues. Jacob Wolf and Slasher are hardly involved anymore. If you have to blow the whistle on someone who do you even go to?

I think Thorin and Richard Lewis could and have done great investigations but the reality is the community has an irrational hate towards them and probably won't take anything they say seriously.

Slasher is only on break, it’s not that he’s done. He said “I’ll be back and in the mean time, don’t believe the wanna be leakers” or something to that affect.
