    In the year of the 80th anniversary of Beckenham Library, Bromley Council plans to demolish this much-loved public building and sell the site to a developer for housing. A replacement facility is proposed, over two floors, in part of the Public Halls on Bromley Road.

    this morning. As a history nerd with a love of historical buildings, I watched with sadness last night. Now I’m in awe of how it’s survived a revolution, two worlds wars and now a catastrophic fire. Wounded but alive. Well done

    home made is definitely the best and only takes a few hours to make. 3lb Seville oranges produces about 10 jars of marmalade. The Seville oranges season is short so get them quickly.
