This is esoteric Taoism 101, but it's esoteric precisely because exoterically minded people don't get it
"Know the masculine,

That femininity (i.e. receptiveness, passivity) is the most essential principle of the natural universe, and understanding it and learning to use it in your life grants you great adaptive advantage over those who do not.
