Your logical premises begin from something. Before this something could arise, there is nothing. “Nothing” (like the number 0) is like a placeholder. What has no form—inherent self-existence—can enable all things to have theirs.

Of course it’s also perfectly logical to say that there is no such thing as nothingness, as by definition it does not exist. 😂 Yet curiously it is what everything that exists needs in order to exist, so there is something about it that is very undeniable.
