Why does not knowing improve the experience? Or is there another way I should be interpreting ‘the best’? Some people get offended at the use of an extreme, not what I am doing. I am curious and asking about your subjective view on this statement. Would you elaborate?

Your organs work best when you’re not aware of them—or rather, you’re only explicitly aware of them when they malfunction, when they signal about it via pain. Embodied spirituality is like this, too. It’s a foundational aspect of your being, not a garment that hangs against you.

I think I see, and agree, mostly. My paraphrase: It’s very hard to enjoy the ride if we are worried about how it works, thus distracting from the ride. My exception: Exercising some organs is a healthy experience, spirituality may be one of those, when exercise is done in care.

Yes—well paraphrased. :-) Indeed, exercising it might be very well and good. But it’s one of those things that shouldn’t be done “because it’s good for you”—because then it won’t work, you see. You have to do it without “letting your left hand know what your right hand does.” 😉
