The best kind of spirituality is that which you’re the least aware of.

Why does not knowing improve the experience? Or is there another way I should be interpreting ‘the best’? Some people get offended at the use of an extreme, not what I am doing. I am curious and asking about your subjective view on this statement. Would you elaborate?

Your organs work best when you’re not aware of them—or rather, you’re only explicitly aware of them when they malfunction, when they signal about it via pain. Embodied spirituality is like this, too. It’s a foundational aspect of your being, not a garment that hangs against you.
